There are my favourite hero abilities in Heroes 5. It is one fun part to try different ones and unlock some specific trait, that require certain combination of them, but when it comes to make a versatile hero, we may become conservative. We can have 5 primary skills and 3 abilities for each skill.

Luck - a must skill.
Sorcery - important for wizards.
Summoning - bring combat units.
Ballista - additional damage.
Pathfinding - move faster.
