Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness is the second game created about Warcraft universe. It is again a real time strategy, played in the fantasy world of Azeroth. The both sides, Orcs and Humans begins to forge their sides by joining other races to form today's main forces, which exist in World of Warcraft. For example the elves are now the Alliance's archers, gnomes drive flying machines and dwarves have some dirty roles.  The game play is very enchanted too, allowing multiple unit selection and a lot more comfort. In our days, the problem still remain the screen resolution.

The easiest way to play Warcraft 2 windowed is with DOS-Box . But the game require its CD to run. What to do is 1.Mount the game as c:. 2. Mount the CD as  cd rom drive d:. To mount the game CD use the specific dosbox command (mount d I:\ -t cdrom )(I is the CD rom drive letter), so it recognize it as a CD. You can mount even the virtual drive, just do not forget what letter it have. 3. Install the game from there. It will create its own folder c:\war2 and run it from there. It will even remember the saved games.

X-COM: Apocalypse, known as UFO 3 comes with a little different gameplay from the classical X-COMs. It have a real time option that is sometimes useful. And this time we do not defend the whole planet, but just one city. There are all types of cool weapons and gadgets. The soldiers are separated by their physical and psychical abilities. And even if it looks a little clumsy at first, the game is really interesting and fishy.

Warlords 3 - Game Preview

Warlords 3 is the next sequel of the wonderful turn based strategy game.  It has two parts, Warlords 3: Reign Of Heroes, where we save Selentine Empire from hodes of undead, and Warlords 3: Darklords Rising, where we play the campaigh with the dark side. The graphic is no longer 2D and change to lovely isometric castles and armies. Beside the exciting campaigns, there are tons of scenario maps to play with any of 8 races in the game. The castles now produce more varieties of armies and heroes have the ability to cast spells. Its truly exiting adventure in the fantasy lands of the war lords. Warlords 3 also support multiplayer game up to 8 players.
