Being Lucky - Open X-Com: X-Files

Lucky commendation is awarded for making a frag with a chance below 5% for sure. In advanced missions rookies go in combat with the awesome M-60 machine gun, and lucky enough they are quite good with it making this Lucky medal. It is a lot of shooting but just stay as far as possible from the aliens so they can not hit you and use the auto shot. There are 125 rounds in the M-60 machinegun so fire at will.

Here is the M-60 machine gun which have a very high chance to create a Lucky medal. It also may sprout Gunner giving Strength which is very needed for rookies.

And that is it, four peoples from the support team with Lucky commendation and one of them 4 levels lucky in one mission.

 It so so amazing, how this game from the 1994 is so awesome, deep and interesting and smiles bringing :) With tons of content, and mind bugging references, this piece of art needs months(real ones) to explore all its mysteries.

The medals are insanely interesting and desired. I'll make a post with all medals and conditions to achieve, but first I'm eager to play...

Here are the base facilities in the late 2001. I finally have the Advanced laboratory. There are at least 6 types of laboratories in X-Files mod. As always there is not enough storage space.

This game I have 3 alien bases that occasionally are visited by supply ships. The Engineers in these ships sometimes carry the so precious Alien Electronics, so for now the bases stay alive.

Open X-Com X-Files Promotion III

Promotion III is a milestone, that unlock the latest human technology. It is not seen in the tech tree viewer, but it requires at least one cult eliminated. The Red Down HQ usually is first available, it must be destroyed and the cult terminated.

Open X-Com X-Files Tritanium Sword

This is Cyberweb main battleship mission. There are at least 50 heavy armed men and 5-6 Centurion robots. They are very hard to eliminate, except for the tritanium sword. 2-3 hits behind the robot and it is wrecked. The tritanium sword remain the ultimate melee weapon for the whole game, may be to plasma blade.

At some point the Psi-amp will be available. It uses the Psionic Skill and have a range of 25 plus vision, but it is still very useful in such situations.
