Civ 4: Fairy Tale Mod - The Princess

The Princess is the member of the royal family, that is the easiest to build with many levels. As she has 100% city attack, the princess is on the first line when conquering towns. And my princes have 14 levels total. Next time I'll break this record :) Other then that is the Queen, she has 100% city defense and she perished when trying to make levels. The Emperor is also very strong and can be leveled in city attacks. 

Civilization 4 : Fairy Tale Mod

This mod is quite exciting. There are a lot of national units and the buildings are difficult to build. Like the Mad scientist lab, which needs a great scientist. Also there is no finishing production with gold, so planning wars is different than regular civ.

Civilization 4 is the first attemt for civ series to go 3D. If it wasn't for the cool new concepts, like Religions, Civics and Corporations, I would just play civ 3. Also a lot of updates and user created mods are available for civ 4, so no matter my dislike for turn based strategies being 3D, I must include it in the Best Games Ever.

The screen shows a zoomed out map of the world, when no land have left unclaimed.

Civilization 4 - Great General

There is the great general from Civilization 4 game. Generals appear when we make a lot of combats. Every combat will increase the appearance slider untill its filled and the general appear. The slider can be checked from the army menu.

Great generals are not combat units. They can be used for:

• Constructing a military academy in a city, which speeds unit production.
• Be attached to an unit or a stack to give them a lot of XP.
• Be attached to a city to give +2 XP to all units, constructed in the city. This bonus is cumulative, meaning a lot of generals can be placed in one city to give tremendous amount of XP to units produced in the city.

 Any option will consume the general.

Here is a fun map, where every civilization start on its own continent separated by water. It seems that the purple and the orange players are most developed and begun expanding on its neighbours continents. This on the screen is their border. It is heavily guarded by both sides. The purple player have so many planes set on patrol, that they make a fun circlet over the carrier. Stacking so many units in a carrier is dangerous though. If the ship sink, they will be all gone.
