Freelancer Screenshots

Freelancer is a space trading and combat simulation computer game, where the player take on the roles of spacecraft pilot to explore the planets and space stations of 48 known star systems, and defend the galaxy from the mystical aliens ant their allies. This game brings amazing atmosphere and story line, which influenced a lot of newly developed games after 2005. There is still no true descendant of this game till 2016.

Ship Dealer | Freelancer Game

After the destruction of Spaceport 4, our hero, Trent, loose all his equipment and is forced to find a job on the planet Manhattan. All planets and stations are named after big US cities, which is somehow educational.

Map Screen | Freelancer Game

Here is the mini map screen. It may look a little simple, but will be extremely used during the game. Next time I play it I'll make screens for all hidden places in all sectors I can find. They are  a lot, and give a strong edge in the game.

• Hint: Explore the sectors for hidden weapons and ship parts.

First Battle | Freelancer Game

Our first mission is to escort a transport, given by the character King. But the moment we leave the planet, we are attacked by pirates. Our first ship is crap, weapons are nonsense, and we can hardly keep control over it. A small step in the big adventure.

Here is our brave pilot escaping to the nearest docking station after a battle with pirates. The structure of the ship is almost destroyed, but yet it moves.
