Imperium Galactica 2 PC Game - More explanation screenshots

Imperium Galactica 2 computer game is a real time space strategy released in the distant 2000. Yet it may compete with some of the modern titles in the genre, if we find a way to start it on windows 7 and upcoming 8 with a good resolution. I remember the days when it was released. My computer was too week to run it, but luckily I had a friend with a good computer that was busy to attend his girlfriend in the local vegetable market. I was able then, to negotiate some utilisation hours of the good hardware. Good times good friends now and then.

But back on the game. We move our ships on the map in fleets. We can not make many fleets but must strategically deploy the ones we have on the map. Here, a rival planet have stumbled in our territory. On the way to take it, the Seeker fleet detects the enemy fleet that have anticipated our move. It will be a glorious battle.

Here two small missile ships are launching the big damage torpedoes. I must not forget to play with them.

This is the orbital battle screen from Imperium Galactica 2 PC video game. We attack a planet with our fleet until there is no rivals left and the planet shield is down. The fleet form the screenshot is consist mostly from alien design ships. The best battleships in IG 2 comes from the free Mercenary market, so it is more important for us to have credits, than trying to construct our own ships. The alien ships have some unknown useful abilities too.

After taking the planetary shields and fleets out in Imperium Galactica 2 PC video game, we deploy our ground forces to conquer the planet. First of all we must remove the Fortress buildings. All other remaining buildings will become ours after the battle. The highest level tanks on the screenshot are equipped with the ultimate ion cannon. They are practically unstoppable by any defense, even with some stupid tactical moves.
