The Rock golems are creatures ummune to all types of magic. In mission 18 under the Dalaran magic barrier, they can move freely without being harmed. A couple of rock golems can be found in cages on the streets of Dalaran, where human have imprisoned them for study.

In the last mission of the Scourge campaign, Kel'Thuzad need to summon the powerful demon Archimonde. The human will attack from all sides and try to interrupt the summoning. The task is not one of the easiest. Every couple of minutes some reinforcement will arrive. There are also some land mines in the shop. Then in the last five minutes, the Infernals will fall from the skies to help the player in this dark quest. Yes, they are the falling green stars from the intro movie. A powerful melee units with a lot of hit points. After the summoning is complete, there is a cinematic with the destruction of Dalaran. The human alliance lies in ruins, or scattered along the lands. But the real and glorious adventure is just about to begin.

Mission 20 is finally out of the forsaken lands of the undead. As Thrall was clever enough to hear the words of the Prophet, he is far from the demon invasion at the shores of Kalimdor. But not for long, the horde will play a key role in saving the world this time. Here is Thrall again, he is still wearing the ring of protection found on mission 2. Now he is searching for the rest of his men who landed ships on the shore at different locations. He is curious enough to check every chest or neutral buildings for treasures, and there is a Lion's Ring (Agility +1) hiding behind these trees.

As Thrall searches for more clues of his fate, he finds the Tauren Bloodhoof tribe. Before their leader do join Thrall, he need to escort the caravan to 3 oasis and protect it from the wild centaurs.

In mission 22 Thrall continue to search the Oracle. In the barren wastes he finds his comrade Grom Hellscream, a melee hero which can not be controlled but will launch ocasional attacks. When the base is established, the Kodo Beast is available for production. Kodo Beasts are large units with a week ranged attack. But they have this Devour ability, to swallow a small to medium rival unit and regenerate health while consuming it. If the Kodo is killed before the unit is consumed, the unit come out of the beast's belly and continue to fight for his side. Kodo Beasts also have a passive ability, the War Drums, which increase damage of the nearby friendly units. Meanwhile the demon who controlled the orcs, Mannoroth, is aware they have run away.

This is the mission where Night Elves are met for the first time. As the orcs are new to these lands, they find them quite spooky. To anger the Night Elves more, Grom Hellscream need to collect 15 000 lumber for the upcoming war and cut a big portion of the Ashenvale forest. Grom Hellscream is an orcish melee hero with evasive abilities. He will play a small role in the story and will join his demon master Mannoroth to became a chaos orc. But this is later, now there are some goblin huts with quest around to buy their lumber cutting machines. The night elves will try to stop Grom.

The demons have activated their plan to turn the orcs and have infested a well with the Mannaroth's demonic blood. To reach the well, Grom have to destroy a portion of the forest to the north of his base with catapults. In the help of defensing the base comes the Troll Witch Doctors. They are the Horde healers, but they do not heal directly. Rather than that, they have a healing totem, which is placed near the wounded units or in the fight. In a regular game, the Witch Doctor need two special upgrades to be able to place the Healing Totem.

After Grom and his clan drink from the poisoned well, they become the Chaos Orcs. Chaos Orcs are stronger and have different abilities. Now they have the strength to destroy the night elves to the west. The defense on mission 24 is easily mend with a lot of towers.

In mission 25 Thrall will finally reach the dungeon, where the Oracle(the Prophet) should be. Cairne Bloodhoof, the tauren melee hero will also join for the rest of the missions in the Orc campaign. There are two minor quests and a lot of combat.

In the next mission the heroes enter into a dungeon area. Some spells are not active in dungeons, and there is no building constructions in them. All men at hand will count. Hopefully the heroes have some cool spells, like the Chain Lightning spell of Thrall. It hurls a bolt of damaging lightning at a target enemy unit that jumps to nearby enemies, while each jump do less damage. The tauren hero will join later to secure the dungeon from another entry point.
