The map of Warcraft 2 is roamed by all types of critters. The critters are harmless. However they some times stand on the army's way or obstacle building placement. In this adventure though, no critter was harmed.

Group Units Screenshot | Warcraft 2
In Warcraft 2 we can select up to 9 units at once and give them the same order. But we can not yet assign a numbers to the groups. It is available in the future in Warcraft 3.

Elven Destroyer is the simple naval unit for the
Alliance. It is not strong as the Battleships, but can attack flying units. Also it have a good sight. all naval units require Oil resource. It is the third strategic resource in Warcraft 2, beside gold and lumber. The
Elven Destroyer have Armor 10, 2-35 damage, range 4, sight 8 and speed 10. The unit is created in the Shipyard.

The Elven Archer is the only ground ranged unit for the
Alliance. It have 0 armor, 3-9 damage, range 4, sight 5 and speed 10. He have 4 more unique upgrades, to become a Ranger with more hit points, increased range, increased damage and sight.the unique upgrades are available in the Lumber Mill. The unit is created in the Barracks.

Farms are buildings constructed by the peasants. For every one farm, we can train 5 footmen or five peasants. In another words they define the army size limit.
