Poseidon: Master of Atlantis is the expansion of the beautiful 2D city builder Zeus: Master of Olympus. It take place on the island of Atlantis, according to some legends, situated between America and Africa continents long long time ago. During the missions of building and ruling mighty cities we witness the volcanic eruption, that have sunk Atlantis.

Garden of Demeter is may be the best sanctuary to build. Upon completion, the lands around it becomes fertile ground and new farms can be build there.
Next main task is building the grand Atlantian pyramids. The pyramids do not bring any cool bonuses except a little appeal, but they are important monuments of beauty and glory. Like sanctuaries, to build pyramids we need artisan's shops and the needed materials in the warehouses.
A lot of trails and errors will be needed, while we find the best logistic pattern for our houses and servicing buildings around. For what I have explored the maintenance officer can travel the road around 20 houses without turning back and leave some building to collapse.

This is what will happen if the maintenance building is not present on the road. After a while, they collapse. It does not matter how far are buildings from the houses. Here we try to build a trading spot with ports to other cities and some warehouses around, but forgot the maintenance office.
And here is a well optimised fertile land spot. Farms and orchards can be build only over meadow. Meadow appear as grey dotted plains and looks pink on the map. Here we have 6 wheat farms, vineyards, oranges and olive trees. Wheat and oranges are food. Grapes and olives are row materials for making more goods, respectively wine and olive oil.
Here is our first Sanctuary. It is an enormous buildings that need a lot of time and material to build, but bring lovely bonuses. To build a sanctuaries we need artisan's shops constructed around and the needed materials in the warehouses. When we do not have the materials we import them from other cities via trade ports.
This is the hippodrome. It is used for entertainment, generates money and complete certain requests. Here is a city foundation around the palace. The palace bring a little appeal and allow the tax collecting building, placed along with maintenance, water supply and library - all 2x2 squares wide.
Elite housings are 4x4 houses that are needed to train armies. They need to be built over high appeal terrain and consume all supplies that normal house need, plus 3 more goods - Chariot, Wine and Arms.
